With the findings in hand, individualized Speech-Language Therapy can be provided at parents’ request.
Release
Goals are set before Therapy Sessions begin, once we feel we have achieved those goals, I advice the discontinuation of the services. At any time, on your own, you may decide to stop therapy. blah blah blah.
Guidance
Most parents need guidance to face the challenge of matching their child needs with what is available through public and private institutions. Sadly, the educational system is difficult to navigate, the options aren’t clearly mapped and help isn’t provided openly.
I provide as much help as needed in this area as part of my services.

Speech and language services available include evaluation and treatment in the areas of:
Speech (articulation, phonology, apraxia, dysarthria)
Language (receptive / expressive)
Oral motor / Feeding (strength, range of motion, coordination, & speed of lips, tongue, jaw; jaw stability & grading)
Phonological awareness (segmenting, manipulating & blending words, syllables and sounds of both spoken and written language)
Social / pragmatic communication skills (Autism, PDD, Asperger’s Syndrome)
Parent / caregiver / staff training / education in PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), speech, social / pragmatic, phonological awareness, oral motor, feeding, and language programs.
